Bayliner 175 3lt Boat Exhaust Sound -First Engine Start In 6 Months
A mercruiser 3lt engine (4 cylinder) starting for first time after winter. Quite a lot of smoke. It has a nice sound in my opinion.Boat engine starting on land running from a hose for cooling. The propeller (despite the fact that it spins slowly) is not connected to the drive shaft, if it was it would spin very fast and be dangerous.

This motor is almost brand new. I was told it only had about one or two tanks of gas run through it. I beleive this to be a 1997 model. I installed a new water pump cleaned the carb and as you can see it runs great

Motor came from another area Dealer we were asked to sell this for them. Motor was just recently serviced work included: Installing a new head gasket new water pump. Points were cleaned and adjusted,Carb was taken apart and cleaned. Lube was changed in lower unit. New spark plugs were also installed. Prop appears to be almost new or maybe a rebuilt one? As you can see it runs very well.
