1990 Force Outboard 50hp Lower UnitForce Outboard Motor in Salt Water
I have a “Force” outboard motor that doesn’t have a place to flush out salt water…where do I put the hose?
to flush the motor you need a end of a garden hose adapter called "ears" you can buy at nearly any boating department for $8 to 15. Two rubber cups fit on the lower unit above the prop at the water intake and the water hose forces water into the motor so you can run the motor and flush out on the trailer IE out of water.
