Boat engine starting on land running from a hose for cooling. The propeller (despite the fact that it spins slowly) is not connected to the drive shaft, if it was it would spin very fast and be dangerous.

Small boat bayliner 175 xt (similar to the maxum 1800) accelerates from 0 to around 40mph. You hear the mercuiser engine rev right through to about 4000rpm.

Bayliner 175 xt out in big waves (for the boat) the speed is around 20 or so mph. The boat does cut nicely through the waves.

A mercruiser 3lt engine (4 cylinder) starting for first time after winter. Quite a lot of smoke. It has a nice sound in my opinion.Boat engine starting on land running from a hose for cooling. Starting spped of the video is around 15mph , the end speed is around 32-35mph, the waves were 0.3-0.5 meters high, sea state 2 with no crests, the person screaming crazily is just, well a little crazy
