Look into a product called “Vert Glas”.
this is a 3-step system that leaves a clear coat like finish on gelcoat that really brings the shine back.
Step one is to clean the boat surface like you’ve never cleaned it before.
Step two us to use the deoxidizer provided in the kit. Then you clean the boat surface like you’ve never cleaned it before.
Step three is to apply 4-8 finish coats of finish provided in the kit. This is done with a slightly damp chamois brush supplied with the kit.
You do not wax the boat at all for the rest of the year; simply keep it clean with a nonabrasive cleaner and repeat the process next spring.
