Ok so let’s get started – Bayliner Boats originally started in 1965 by Mr. Orin Edson, who at the time was operating a company called Advanced Outboard Marine. Orin founded the company in 1955 and was selling outboard engines and boating accessories.

In order to be sure what size of cover best fits your boat – you may want to measure your boat to determine for sure the length and beam width.

How to Measure Your Boat For a Trailer-Storage Cover….

When measuring your boat, use a a steel tape to be sure you have accurate dimensions. To measure length and width, if your boat is on a trailer, you can lay the tape on the ground directly under the boat and eyeball the measurement.
PLEASE NOTE: It’s a good idea to measure your boat, even if you have the manufacturer’s specifications from the owner’s manual.

1. Finding the Centerline Length – Measure from the tip of the bow to the center of the stern. If you have any extensions (swim deck, platforms, etc.), add their length to the centerline dimension if you want these extensions covered.

2. Finding the Beam Width – Measure the widest point of your boat. For this measurement be sure to include the rub-rail.

3. Our covers will fit boats with a beam and center-line measurement plus or minus 6 inches.

4. Add 1 foot to the centerline length if your boat has rails exceeding 6 inches in height. Add one foot to the centerline length for trolling motor.

To make our boat covers fit your boat even better – We have Options Available

1. Adjustable Support Poles $16.00 each – Use these poles to add center support for boat covers. Made from bright anodized aluminum tubing. This will help with water run-off. Recommend 1 to 3 support poles depending on model and size of boat.

2. Deluxe Strap Set, $30. per set . Ten straps w/buckles – made from durable black webbing designed to secure your boat cover while on its trailer. These straps feature easy action side release buckles. The webbing forms an adjustable loop from the boat cover loop to around the trailer frame. This will help when trailering.

3. Vent-So-Ports, $16. each – The Vent-So-Port system vastly improves mooring cover functionality. It’s domed shaped cap allows air to enter  the covered area and circulate freely, reducing condensation, mildew and rust and dispersing rain away from the top of the cover.  The Support Pole snugly fits the Ventilator Cap and is made of sturdy anodized aluminum with a rubber crutch tip providing excellent support and stability.
