<p>It was my dads and I want to put on a starter but I need to know how to make it recharge the battery.I can hook up the starter with no problem.I just need to find the wires that charges the battery.</p>
<p>man, that guy snag is not only long winded but he no speakie english too good neither, huh?!  you can put a starter on it, but a &#8217;73 manual start is not going to have the AC coil to charge.</p>
<p>You can find the parts used easy enough.  a decent battery will start that engine so many times you will lose count without recharging.</p>

<p>You should have gotten a new one .. would probably last longer and less headache, but since you want to fix it, Try this link &#8230; it will show you exactly what is inside the lower unit.</p>
