how do you become a dealer for mercury outboards?

Opened a marine repair shop and am trying to get a line of boats and motors. Can someone tell me how to and who to contact to become a mercury outboard dealer and what their requirements are.
Thanks

You contact your Mercury distributor ( they are listed in the yellow pages). They are getting pretty fussey now. 1st you have to be in a good market area. 2nd you have to have a very good repair facility (good mechanics with good experience). 3rd you will have to make a booking order (determined by Merc), this is a certain number of outboards and parts and advertising material. This can be financed through them.
