Does anyone know of any problems with a 1998 – 120 horsepower Mercury Force outboard motor?
No! I have a 98 EFI 200 hp, and had very little problems. Merc does have a slight problem with there timing boxes. I was told that it was common when mine went bad. Been fine since. I love my Merc!

i've seen faulty thermo-stats on a regular basis. that's about it though.
