i have a 100 hp merc on mine and i don’t want to put mix gas in the bank of the boat if they did not put it like that from factory just in case i want to step up to a 4 stroke down the road.
my motor is a 1962 merc 100hp 1000 runs like brand new .
Yes they did. Don’t worry about using mixed gas in the tank, if you want to change to a four stroke you will have plenty of time to use up the mixed gas. The little residual will have no effect on the new engines performance.

Yes, I am not sure but make sure you don't have one of those ill conceived L drives. I am not sure of the year (s).
Four strokes are a more current phenomenon.

Your motor is a 2 stroke. Some of the motors starting along about that year model had oil injection and had it's own separate oil thank. If it has that then you don't have to mix the oil and gas. If it don't have an oil tank then you do have to mix the oil with the gas at 50:1.
