120HP Mercury Marine- 3,4, or 6 cylinder?

Google search has failed me. This is strictly from curiosity. Years ago, we used to rent a 21′ Bayliner Ski Boat. It had a 120HP Mercury Marine 2-Stroke outboard. From curiosity, google search brings up nothing relevant, is anyone familiar with whether this was a 3, 4, or 6 cylinder engine? Thanks in advance.
Oh I’m sorry, it was a 125HP model 2-stroke. If it matters, I don’t think it does, it had a starting problem warm. The starter didn’t really seem to have enough kick to spin the engine. Dunno if this would help with identification, if there was a problem with that specific model *shrug*

I don’t believe Merc ever made a 120 hp. They made a 115 hp, both in 4 cyl and 6 cyl, and a 125 hp in 4 and 6 cyl, depending on the year.

what is the seating capacity of a 19ft 1988 Bayliner Cuddy Cabin boat?

there should be a capacity plate by the helm that tells you how many people it can hold.

Also they generally don’t put more seats on the boat than its capacity.

how to remove lower unit of 120 force outboard boat motor?

best to order an outboard repair manual because there aint enough room on this site to go into the detail required to explain it properly. just type into your search bar 120 force outboard repair manual. hope this helps.
